Andy is Missing - $2,000 Reward
Have you seen Andy? He has been spotted in Norwalk and Westport and his scent was recently tracked in Winslow Park.
Hi, I’m Andy! I’m a male, tan and white Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I’m 11 years old and weigh about 30 pounds. My ears stand up tall but my body is low to the ground. I have cute short legs and no tail. I’m really friendly (but scared since I’m lost) so if you see me, please don’t chase me. Call my Mom (anytime day or night) on her cell at 781-264-5243 or call Animal Control at 203-557-3659.
Andy was lost Dec. 31 while watching fireworks in Westport and was last seen on Jan. 14 at Winslow Park in Westport. It is believed that Andy was picked up in a car on Gault Ave in Westport between Saturday & Tuesday. Andy is very loved & very missed! $2000 reward for his safe return or confidential tip leading to his safe return. No questions asked!

Don't give up! Our family dog was staying at my sister's house in Southbury (between Danbury & Waterbury)while my parents moved, on day 3 she jumped the fence & went missing. We to my sister's & back every day and she showed up 2 WEEKS later on my other sister's doorstep in Fairfield! She had no tags on at the time (her collar fell off) so we know that no one gave her a ride & she would have had to get across the Merritt Pkwy and I84 in order to get to her destination...she had a lot of will & determination & did everything she could to get to my father who was staying with my "Fairfield" sister during the move. Andy will be found...he's trying his hardest to find his way to you!

I am confused....was he spotted in Norwalk or Westport? or BOTH?
That's a lot of mileage for a little corgi to cover in a couple of days!
"This missing Corgi was recently spotted on Wolfpit Avenue in Norwalk"
"Andy seen behind pet supplies plus on post rd Westport Southport line at 10 pm tues (last night) "
Please Clarify.

PS - It might help if this was posted on Fairfield Patch as well seeing as he was just spotted in that area last night.
PSPS - maybe Patch.com could make a sidebar with headlines of recent Lost Pets on their Home pages. It is not easy to find these lost pet articles unless someone recently posts on the article.
I saw this article in the "recent posts" but for the life of me....I can't find it from the Home page on Westport Patch.
Something to think about Patch.com.
Hopefully Andy will be found soon!

Bring Andy Home shared status update.
I wish I had some concrete suggestions for where people should look. but I can only give scenerio's: Using the 2- 99% positive sightings, first on Wolfpit Ave in Norwalk and second at pet store on Post rd on Fairfield Border. #1- moving East, and if the sports complex was a definite, he may still be moving East, but I do believe there are to many obstacles and he would have turned North, where signs have been placed along route 59 all the way to the Merritt..which means he could be circling back. ( I dont want to think he is in Bridgeport ) #2- If the Sport complex sighting was false ( which makes sense due to the obstacles of 95 and river ) He would possibly head back or go North and circle. #3 If the possible sighting on Bayberry rd and Winslow dog park were real, Then it proves he maybe circling or just going up and down rt 1 for food and hiding in the neighborhoods. I wish I had more. BUT, what makes sense: He needs water, due to temp. he would have to go near running water, or any water source that is not frozen. Food, dumpsters behind restaurants, stores or even garbage cans. Unless someone is feeding him, this is where he would eat. Shelter, endless possibilities. He is probably moving in the evening and really early am. Extreme cold, may change this behavior.

Bring Andy Home
Attention! Fabulous dog tracked Andy for 6.7 miles from his last sighting sat at 9a.m at Winslow dog Park in Westport, The track ended abruptly on a small street and the trackers expert opinion is that he was picked up and driven off. No signs of any injury, however we have contacted all vets in the area and beyond to be sure. This dog who is trained to follow cold tracks of up to a month was especially excited following Andy's trail because it was so fresh. Please alert everyone you know, and post a lot of flyers in Westport, he could be with anyone, we can't limit the flyer area to that specific street as he could be in anyone's house or picked up by someone working in that area!!! Thank you!!
