Perhaps while retrieving your Sunday delivery of your favorite newspaper in the minutes proceeding dawn you were startled by the image of tiny gremlins, ghosts, goblins and superheroes carrying gym bags nearly equaling them in size.

And you thought "naw... it's too early, " before proceeding to a cup of morning joe.  

It wasn't an early start to trick or treat,  but youth belonging to the Westport Weston Family Y Water Rat team headed out to the morning Spooktacular Swim Meet in Wilton.  Hundreds of swimmers from Fairfield County attended the meet, which began just before 9 a.m.  Costumes sported by participants contributed to the atmosphere of showmanship and sportsmanship.
