More About The Unitarian Church in Westport
The Unitarian Church in Westport was established in 1949. Rev. Frank Hall is the senior minister of this socially active church. The congregation meets in a house of worship designed by New York architect Victor Lundy.
The church's Social Justice Council (SJC), working with the social justice director, initiates, coordinates and supports the congregation's efforts to advocate, educate, organize, serve and witness for social justice. In addition to providing assistance to the church's social action programs, the SJC makes special efforts to provide support and resources to programs aimed at improving the well-being of children and families. The church also has number of other opportunities for parishioners to become involved in social activism and anti-oppression work.
