Staples Stadium – "Under the Lights"
This fall, Staples will join the ranks of other area high schools by bringing evening athletics to their home playing field.The excitement and momentum is building and Staples, like so many other Fairfield County schools, can now host evening athletic events with a home town advantage. The “Staples Stadium – Under the Lights” kick off campaign will help defray the installation costs of permanent lighting (in time for the 2012 fall sports season) as well as fund a new concession stand with much needed handicap access bathroom facilities. The importance of athletics is to develop teamwork, social skills, boost leadership, and promote fitness among students of all ages. With your support; athletes, fans, young and old will enjoy team camaraderie, community spirit and town unity under a field of lights. We need your help to realize this goal.
