WESTPORT, Conn. – When it comes to gold, the World Gold Council sets the standard for style and much more. , a Westport-based jeweler and gemologist, has been selected for inclusion in the World Gold Council’s 2012 lookbook. This is the third consecutive year Kim’s designs have received this honor.
“I’m delighted,” Kim says. “Every year the World Gold Council invites designers to submit pieces for consideration for inclusion in their lookbook. And to be voted an “Editors’ Favorite” is a real thrill.”
More than just a nod to Kim’s artistry, the exposure that comes from inclusion in the lookbook is hard to beat.
“Plenty of publications use images from the World Gold Council for inclusion in trend stories,” explains Kim. “And stylists and editors regularly use the lookbook for photo shoots and editorial pieces.”
Faye Kim is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America and, prior to creating her own line, worked at Tiffany & Co., and as a fine jewelry buyer at Bergdorf Goodman. Whether she is designing a collection or working on a private commission, her joy comes from producing jewelry that is timeless, elegant and wonderfully wearable.
