Conversation with the Candidates

The Westport/Weston Chamber of Commerce plans to host an open discussion with First Selectman candidates Helen Garten (D) and Jim Marpe (R) at The Westport Library, The McManus Room, Friday September 27th from 12:00 to 1:30. Members of Westport’s business community are encouraged to attend and bring questions, concerns, ideas and initiatives to be shared and discussed with the candidates themselves. “This will be a unique opportunity for businesses of all sizes to get to know the candidates and how they plan to interact, represent, and support Westport's important business constituency in the future.” says Lisa Parrelli Gray, President of the Chamber, and Moderator of the event. First Selectman candidates Garten and Marpe will discuss their plans on how they plan to help Westport’s businesses grow and flourish. Attendees are invited to bring their own lunch.
