Fairfield, CT based wealth manager to offer an educational seminar on fishing and finance

Fairfield, CT, June 21, 2013 Rocco & Associates Wealth Management, Inc. (www.roccoandassociates.com), a Fairfield based wealth management firm that was founded to assist individuals and families across all aspects of their financial lives, is proud to announce an exciting seminar event, scheduled for July 25th, 2013. Partnering with Westport Outfitters (www.westportoutfitters.com), a premier tackle provider and fishing outfitter based in Westport, CT, the event will focus on “Fishing & Finance.”  The idea is a combined and continued effort by Charles W. Rocco, VP of Strategic Planning and Eric C. Johnson, Director of Business Development, to create exciting educational events in regards to financial planning that break from the more traditional types of seminars offered through other financial planning firms.

“Planning for your financial future can be very intimidating, especially within Fairfield County where there are no shortages of firms offering similar products and services.  Our goal for this event as well, as others upcoming, is to create a comfortable learning environment where we partner with a secondary business to allow potential customers an opportunity  to really get to know our firm while offering more than just one reason to attend,” said Charlie.  At the core of their “Fishing and Finance” event will be to introduce the wonderful sport of fishing to parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts who wish to use it as an outlet to spend more quality time with their children, grandkids, nieces and nephews.  The event will give attendees an opportunity to ask questions as well experience hands on instruction on the picturesque Saugatuck River located directly behind Westport Outfitters.

The event will begin with a short presentation and introduction to their firm, followed by hands on fishing instruction, extended Q&A with a BBQ dinner on site after. They are encouraging attendees to bring their children, nieces, nephews and grandkids to the event so that they too can brush up on their fishing skills with the experts from Westport Outfitters.
