Y Masters to Host 29th Annual Groundhog Swim Meet, Feb. 2

The Y Masters Swim Team will host the 29th Annual Groundhog Meet at the Westport Weston Family Y on Sunday, February 2.

Last year’s Groundhog Meet, sanctioned for U.S. Masters Swimming by Connecticut Masters, attracted 85 competitive swimmers 18 years and older from Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and across New England.

This year’s meet gets under way with warm-ups at 8:30 am and the first race at 9:30 am, with a scheduled finish at 1 pm. There will be 18 separate events, featuring both individual and relay competition.
