The Bridge Street swing bridge will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The closure is to facilitate installation of the new machinery components on the bridge, First Selectman Gordon F. Joseloff said.
The bridge -- officially called the William F. Cribari Memorial Bridge -- will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

Signs and markings for detour routes will be posted, according to Joseloff.
