CUVS Pet Owner Free Education Session: Care of the Geriatric Cat and Dog

Dr. Marnin Forman, head of the Internal Medicine Department at CUVS, will discuss what's new in the care of older cats and dogs including important nutrition aspects as well as problems associated with being over or underweight. He will also discuss early signs of treatable diseases associated with the thyroid or kidney. Dr. Forman will give his opinion when lab work, x-rays and/or ultrasounds should be performed on older animals to screen for underlying diseases. He will also give many tips on how to keep your older cat and dog happy, healthy and free of pain.
