The Interfaith Amigos: A Pastor, A Rabbi and An Imam

Three Clergymen, Three Faiths, One Friendship

In this turbulent time of religion and politics, The Interfaith Amigos will share their own journey of faith at the Saugatuck Congregational Church on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 4:00 p.m. sponsored by The George Mangold Lecture Series, Temple Israel and the Westport/Weston Interfaith Council.

An evening promising: insightful dialogue, discussion of the sameness and differences within each faith, wisdom and of course, a sense of humor. Not to be shy or timid, they will also address the current underlying issues of faith tolerance. The four major areas where they find religious teachings and actions contrary to the core teaching of those very faiths include: exclusivity, violence, inequality of men and woman, and homophobia.
