Westport League of Women Voters Tag Sale

The 27th annual tag sale of the League of Women Voters of Westport promises to be bigger and better than ever, in a new spacious site with generous parking.  The event will be held on Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at 20 Saugatuck Avenue in Westport, the former site of the Women’s Fitness Edge and the AAA.

A long-time favorite with bargain hunters from throughout Fairfield County, this year’s tag sale will feature a wide variety of donated “treasures,” including collectibles, housewares, dishes, lamps, objets d’art, mirrors, artwork, including signed originals, hobby needs, small furniture items, jewelry, and children’s books, to name a few.  The ever-popular plant sale has been expanded to include annuals and house plants, as well as gardening books, tools and supplies.

For additional information, contact Karen Curtis at 203/259-1880.  Proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will help the League’s community and educational programs, such as publication of Know Your Town, voter services activities and civic education programs in the schools.
