The Westport Library is closed to the public Wednesday, May 22.
According to a staff member at the door, library personnel are readying the building for a fundraiser this evening.
Tonight the library will be awarding Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Random House Executive Editor, and former Newsweek editor Jon Meacham the Westport Library Award.
He will be awarded at an event called "Booked for the Evening." The program begins at 7 p.m.
