Westport officials will meet Wednesday to plan and discuss holding a vigil for the one-year anniversary of the Newtown school shooting.
The Westport Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing at 8:30 a.m. to approve the use of Veterans Green on Saturday, Dec. 14 for an interfaith candlelight vigil to commemorate the anniversary of the events in Newtown.
