Westport will hold a Christmas tree lighting at Town Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 5 p.m.
After the tree lighting ceremony, the Westport Downtown Merchants Association will kick off the Holiday season with Celebrate the Season of Giving, a community-wide holiday party. Following the Westport Town Hall tree lighting at 5 p.m., Branson Hall of Christ & Holy Trinity Church, 75 Church Lane, will be open to all for live music, food, special performances, holiday cheer and Santa.
The highlight of the evening will be a non-profit showcase and Wish List Fair. People can learn about local community organizations and make donations by “buying” items from wish lists. Items will range from $10 to several thousand.
