Bring 5 Cans by Thursday, See Country Music's Hunter Hayes Friday

Country music star Hunter Hayes will make a stop at Stamford’s Palace Theatre on Friday, May 9 on his 24-Hour Road Race to End Child Hunger.

He's appearing as part of a dual effort to raise money for ConAgra Foods’ Child Hunger Ends Here program and to break the Guinness World Records® record for Most Concerts Played in multiple cities in 24 hours.

In an effort to collect food for the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, The Palace -- in conjunction with AEG Live -- will be running a special promotion from Monday, May 5, at 10 a.m. until Thursday, May 8, at 6 p.m.

Fans who want to see Hunter Hayes on Friday, May 9th can bring 5 cans of food to The Palace Box Office and, in return, receive one ticket to the show.

“The Palace has always been supportive of our fellow community organizations, including the American Red Cross and the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County,” said the theatre’s Producing Artistic Director, BT McNicholl.

“With Hunter Hayes spotlighting child hunger, it is the perfect opportunity to partner with the food bank. People can feel good about helping others in their own community and see a fantastic show on the 9th!”

THE DEAL:   Fans who bring 5 cans of food to The Palace Box Office at 61 Atlantic Street beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 5 through Thursday, May 8 will receive one ticket to Hayes’ performance on Friday, May 9.

The promotion will last only as long as supplies last. The Palace will also be collecting non-perishable foods the evening of the concert.
