A Connecticut woman took home top prize at the Miss USA pageant in Las Vegas Sunday night!

Erin Brady, 25, a South Glastonbury resident who is originally from East Hampton, got the crown — and a year in a New York apartment — after telling judges that she agreed with the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to uphold widespread DNA testing. She is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.

Brady wore a white gown during the pageant, as well as an orange two-piece suit during the swimwear portion of the show. The show was broadcast on NBC Sunday night.

The show was hosted by Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers and Giuliana Rancic, host of "E! News." The contest was judged by "Biggest Loser" trainer Bob Harper, comedian Mo Rocca and fashion designer Betsey Johnson.

Brady will represent the United States at the Miss Universe pageant in Moscow on Nov. 9.
