Chris Coogan artfully blends jazz with traditional Christmas carols in a seasonal concoction that will uplift and energize your spirits. His Gospel Choir will sing Christmas carols, traditionally and in the Gospel style, then his jazz duo will explore the nuances of the same carols through improvisation. Coogan will also perform his original Christmas music, including a setting of a gregorian chant and a new look at some of the wonderful music from Vince Guarlidi's "Charlie Brown Christmas". To add to the excitement, several stellar soloists will perform Gospel and traditional Christmas music.
