College A Cappella Extravaganza

On Saturday, April 17th Greens Farms Academy (GFA) will host its fourth "Java Jam". The event was launched in 1996 by a former GFA teacher, Dave Perry. Every four years, the Java Jam welcomes back GFA's a cappella alumni and the college groups for an evening of fun, energetic entertainment. This year, groups join us form Brown, Connecticut College, Northeastern, Princeton, Skidmore and the University of Rochester. Cameo performances by GFA's own Beachside Express, Harbor Blues and Chamber Choir complete the evening.

Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the concert will start promptly at 7 pm. Tickets can be purchased at www.gfacademy.org (click on the red "Java Jam" button on the home page) and open seating tickets will be sold at the door for $25. Space is limited, so please pre-order. There will be light refreshments, including of course a good cup of Java served in a coffee house atmosphere.

Greens Farms Academy is a K-12 day school in Westport, serving 650 students. For more information, visit www.gfacademy.org.
