The show is the inspiration of Westport’s Old School Music founder, Roger Kaufman. Featured vocalists for this show are Sharon Jerry-Collins, Maydie Myles and Tara Engler. Maydie Myles is a well-known recording artist whose soul-stirring voice has thrilled audiences nationwide.

She began playing piano at age six and singing gospel in the church pastored by her father at eleven. Her craft was honed sitting in with Jazz and R&B bands in the clubs of Norfolk, Virginia, her hometown.

The Back Up Band consists of Westport’s Bob Cooper on keyboards, on drums is Scott Lebish, the guitarist is Fairfield resident Frank Barrese, all joining Westport bassist Roger Kaufman. The Saugatuck Horns are Anthony Masi and John Serio. Opening the show on acoustic guitar is the totally unique Robert M. Bridgewell. Robert artfully “strings” together his own “far out” mix of obscure and popular music scanning 5 decades. From “Liszt to Led Zeppelin.”
