Hope & Health – An Evening for Haiti: An Italian Wine Dinner and Silent Auction will be held on Tuesday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m. at 55 Degrees, 55 Miller Place, Fairfield. Proceeds will benefit relief in Haiti through AmeriCares. Guests will be guided through the wine pairings during the four-course dinner. Details of the food and wine pairings can be found at the web link provided. They will have the opportunity to order wines that night through Harry's Wine & Liquor. The local business community has responded with overwhelming generosity for the Silent Auction, which will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Some of the Silent Auction items include a catered dinner for 8 (including service) by Chef Jacob Hamilton of 55 Degrees, a spa package at Dream Spa & Hairspa, two paintings created specifically for this event by artists Dirk Herrman and Lucy Herrman, a tour of Good Morning America and dinner for two at Coppia. Some of the other businesses that have thus far donated products and services include Fjord Fisheries, Target Training, DeMatteo Salon, HG Lifestyles, Coffee News, H Salon, Mikol & Company, Connecticut Dermatology, Michael Reynolds, DDS, I.
