The Sixties Show™ has been described as “The Greatest 1960’s Musical Tribute Show on Earth”™. The band includes former members of Billy Joel’s and Elton John’s band, The Boston Pops® and current members of The Smithereens. The individual members of The Sixties Show have toured , performed or recorded with Paul McCartney, The Beach Boys, Brian Wilson, Mick Jagger, The Bee Gees, Bruce Springsteen, Pete Townsend, {The Who} , Nancy Sinatra, Ronnie Spector, Denny Doherty (The Mamas & The Papas) Blondie, Carly Simon and countless other legendary musical superstars. They have performed at the most prestigious live concert venues in the world such as; Wembley Stadium, Yankee Stadium, The Staples Center, Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, The Hollywood Bowl, The Troubadour, The Grand ‘Ole Opry and others.
The highest standards of musicianship are adhered to. No detail is overlooked. Visually the band captivates - authentic 60’s mod styled clothing only adds to the exhilarating musical and visual trip that the band takes you on. Everything is played live with authentic instruments and amplification of the era.
The public is invited to bring picnics, blankets and folding chairs to enhance their Pavilion experience. There is also an on-site concession with snacks and ice cream.
NOTE: FOR OPENING NIGHT, THE PARK WILL OPEN AT 5PM.
(For the rest of the free nights for the season, the park opens 1 hour before showtime)
