Overcoat Film Series: 'Network'

hosts its Overcoat Film Series with a showing of "Network," winner of four Oscars, at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, in the McManus Room.

Enjoy a warm drink, a brief introduction and a film. Directed by Sidney Lumet and written by Paddy Chayefsky, Network is a much-honored, often-quoted film starring Peter Finch, Bill Holden, Faye Dunaway, Robert Duvall, Beatrice Straight and Ned Beatty. 

The movie was a blockbuster when it came out and is still very relevant. "I'm not going to take it anymore!" could be a 2011 battle cry. (1976, 121 minutes)
