PLAY WITH YOUR FOOD

PLAY WITH YOUR FOOD LUNCHTIME THEATER SERIES will conclude its season with a three short productions, including an excerpt from South Pacific, one of the great Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals, and Judgement Call, by Frederick Stroppel,  a  favorite PWYF playwright.  Judgement Call is a comedy bywhere it's spring and the umpires are getting ready for action. Don Striano heads the cast. South Pacific tells a story of romance against a backdrop of World War II, with music that will take your breath away. Garrett Long, from the recent Broadway revival, plays Navy nurse Nellie Forbush. Productions take place April 5-7 at Westport Toquet Hall with lunch provided by Bobby Q's. The shows are repeated April 12 at Fairfield Theatre Company with lunch provided by Garelick & Herbs. The 90-minute events begin at noon with lunch, followed by the productions and an interactive talkback with the actors, playwrights and the audience.
