PLAY WITH YOUR FOOD CELEBRATES VALENTINE'S DAY

Love … experienced on a mountaintop, the Garden of Eden and in a New York City tenement apartment….will be explored in Play With Your Food’s (PWYF) post-Valentine’s Day performance at the Fairfield Theater Company on Tuesday, Feb. 15, at noon. The 90-minute program -- which includes a gourmet lunch, readings of one-act plays by professional actors and a post-event discussion -- will feature Civilization in which two lovers travel to New Mexico on a humorous adventure to look at retirement property;  Lynette at 3 a.m., the poignant story of a young woman who, awakened by gun shots, is surprised by the victim; and The Diaries of Adam and Eve, based on a tale by Mark Twain, which  tells the story of the Garden of Eden in first person. Tickets are priced at $43 per show and include lunch, coffee and dessert. Lunch will be provided Spic and Span Market of Southport, with coffee supplied by Starbucks.
