History has a new home in Westport's Rockwell Art and Framing. A diverse gathering of museum quality documents and artifacts fills the gallery including a unique Napoleon piece -just in time to commemorate his birthday on August 15th!

Titled “History You Can Own”, the display of more than seventy items includes signed letters and documents by George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Robert E Lee, and Napoleon Bonaparte, a miniature bust of Abraham Lincoln that Stamford native Gutzon Borglum carried with him and used as a model while sculpting on Mt. Rushmore, and a scarce copy of the Declaration of Independence. The historic compilation is a collaboration between Stephen Rockwell Desloge, owner of the six Rockwell Galleries in Connecticut, John Reznikoff of University Archives in Westport, Connecticut and Seth Kaller of Seth Kaller, Inc. in White Plains, New York. The gallery items will rotate throughout the year and all are available for purchase. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for October 4, 2012.
