The Sleeping Beauty Ballet

The Ballet Etudes Company returns to Westport Country Playhouse with a family-friendly 90-minute adaptation of the classic fairy tale ballet, The Sleeping Beauty.  Escape into an enchanted world of royalty, curses, forests and fairies; where the beautiful Princess Aurora’s 100-year slumber can only be broken by the kiss of a handsome prince.  Set to Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score, this timeless ballet is staged by Christina Fagundes, after Petipa’s original choreography.   Opulent costumes, elaborate set pieces and scenery, and guests artists from American Ballet Theatre all contribute to the magic of this delightful ballet.
