It's hard to believe that 10 months ago the kids and I were packing FunBites in the basement getting things ready for Amazon. Less than a year later... guess what? We're still packing boxes but now we moved up from the basement, took over most of the first floor and added some good friends to our team.
For those of you who aren't familiar with us yet.... FunBites is a cool new kitchen tool that cuts any kids food into bite-sized fun shapes. It's perfect to get those picky eaters to try new foods and eat healthier.
With the help of angels, we have been in Parents, Real Simple, Nickelodeon, Working Women and many more publications. This is solely from the love and dedication of friends in PR that really know what they're doing.
We have been reviewed by over 500 bloggers... an incredible team of moms and dads that have their own group of followers and believers.
On to sales. Here we go again. While much of our sales comes from personally knocking on etail and retail doors (well in this day, emailing them), we have at last put our tiny little foot in places like Bed Bath and another biggie (they won't let us annouce until shipped 10/1). This is again with the help of people with a heart bigger than the moon using their connections and great sales skills to open a door for FunBites.
At the beginning, someone out there on The Patch wrote a comment to us that it is not what you know, it's who you know. How true that is.
Thanks to all of you angels out there spreading the word, purchasing and just being there. We couldn't have come this far without you. Hopefully someday soon, we at FunBites can start hiring, donating and sponsoring Westport people and events. We know how it takes a village.
