Bob Goughan, General Manager of the Bridgeport Bluefish baseball team, will address the Westport Rotary Club at noon on Tuesday, January 4, at the Inn at Longshore.
Goughan, who joined the Bluefish in 2009, will speak about professional baseball in Fairfield County.
Goughan brings over 25 years of successful minor league operating experience to the Bluefish, including 15 years as the general manager of the Colorado Springs Sky Sox (AAA, Rockies) and 10 years as the general manager of the Rochester Red Wings (AAA, Orioles). A Temple University graduate, Goughan is a 2-time recipient of the Pacific Coast League Executive of the Year award. He was also selected as the International League Executive of the Year.
Guests are always welcome at Rotary meetings. There is a fee of $20 per person for lunch.
