Havdalah Service with the Congregation for Humanistic Judaism

Join us for a lovely family evening at Compo Beach with good company, a beautiful setting, and a meaningful service as the sun sets.

Havdalah is the concluding celebration of Shabbat, which separates it from the rest of the week. The traditional symbols of wine, braided candle, and spice box will be used in a brief humanistic ceremony.

We will meet at the CHJ banner on the beach. See below for directions. Bring your own chairs, a picnic dinner, beverages and flashlights. We will provide dessert.
