Food News for Westport: Week of March 3

A New Restaurant on the Horizon; Knife Skills Class; Tikka Masala Demonstration; Food Drive @ GIlberties

The Blue Chip, a casual dining concept restaurant, is slated to open in June at 60 Charles St. in a space adjacent to celebrity chef and restaurateur Mario Batali’s Tarry Lodge Enoteca & Pizzeria. The building used to house Jasmine.

Tikka Masala fans will enjoy a "Entertaining with Indian" class with Chef Preeti Sikri held in her kitchen at 9 Richmondville Ave. on Sunday March 6 at 11:00 a.m. Call 203.722.5809 to register.

The Winter Farmers' Market at on March 10 will be hosting a goods drive to benefit the Bridgeport Rescue Mission. Fresh and/or canned goods will be accepted.
