With so many local businesses still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy, Patch is compiling a list of businesses that are open and serving the community. Are you open for business? Email Christopher.Rueli@Patch.com with the name and address of your business, the hours you’re open. Plus, please include any special services, products or other information that might be useful to the community. For example, do you have wifi, fresh water, or charging stations? Let us know and we’ll publish it on Patch, in our email newsletter, and on our Facebook page.

 

  • Oaxaca Kitchen in Westport is open for business. 
  • Faye Kim Designs is open for business. They are open Tuesday - Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • The Westport Public Library is open.
  • Westport Town Hall is open.

K.C. Salon & Company just received their power back this morning.There is not a lot we can do for the community as a hair salon. But, we do have plenty of electrical outlets for people to charge their phones, laptops or whatever they may need. We have hot coffee and tea , we would be more than happy to give complimentary or we can do complimentary shampoo's. People can blow dry themselves in the salon or if a stylist is availble and not with a client we would be willing to blow dry for them. If their is anything else we can do feel free to contact us on our facebook page or at 203-209-5506 our landlines are still down..Be safe everyone!

Hair Innovations ~ Design Team is up and running. We are located across the street from Stop and Shop in The Westfair Center. We have free wi-fi and plenty of stylists on hand to service those with no power. Give us a call at: 203.292.9831 or stop in for a complimentary wash until all power is restored to the affected area. The Westport Goodwill Career Center on 1700 Post Road East in Westport is available for the community for free internet access and charging stations. The hours of operation for the center are: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 7 Fridays from 12:00 noon-8:00 pm and Saturdays from 11:00 am-7:00pm. The center is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
