Power Out? Power of NFL Is Still on at Area Bars

If you can't watch television at home because the power is out, these sports bars still have the NFL on.

(972 Post Road, Darien): Small, friendly viewing area with enough televisions to make everyone happy. Tailgate-style menu that includes nachos, hot dogs, hamburgers, and everything else that will satisfy a heart appetite.

(80 Washington Street, Norwalk):  A plethora of big screen televisions make for a great NFL Sunday. Wing and Beer specials until 5 p.m.

(545 Ridgebury Rd. Norwalk): This is a true sports bar with great atmosphere and plenty of televisions to watch your favorite teams.

(Route 7, Norwalk): Cozy atmosphere where you won't get overwhelmed by overzealous fans dressed in their favorite team's jersey, or Halloween costumes, for that matter.

(225 Main St., Stamford): Great atmosphere in the home of Stamford's favorite son. Valentine wasn't just a great baseball player, he was good enough to earn a scholarship to USC as a running back, which he passed on to sign with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Drink and food specials all day.

(99 Railroad Ave., Greenwich): Not the biggest place to watch a game, but it's one of the most entertaining. Good crowd, great food, a great place to watch a game.

(150 Main St., Westport): Small but classy area for viewing games. Great food and drink. If you like to watch the game in a nice, quiet atmosphere this might be your place.

(36 Pine St., New Canaan): The energy is on in more ways that one here. Good crowd, nice atmosphere. Open late enough to see the end of Sunday Nigh Football.

(1520 Post Road, Fairfield): Tremendous pizza and a good atmosphere to watch NFL games.

Fifty Coins had the NFL Sunday Ticket (all games) I believe, but is now closed. No where else in town has that, correct?

Tavern in Monroe on Rt. 25 has the sunday ticket as well. Most of Monroe is without power but we have power so come down for some great comfort food. We have a kids menu along with 40 bottled beers and 8 rotating draft beers. Tonight we have a little treat for all the kids for halloween.
