L'Occitane, the international high-end bath and body shop, is in the midst of moving from its current location at 47 Main St. in Westport to a space under renovation next door.
According to the store's manager, the re-opening is planned for Sept. 20. The store remains open while construction continues at 45 Main St., which is next to the tunnel that links Main Street to Parker Harding Plaza.
The new space was previously occupied by Claire's, a store that sold makeup, jewelry and accessories to young women.
Established in the South of France in 1976, L'Occitane sells its products to both men and women, and its other Connecticut stores are in Greenwich, Danbury and Farmington.
