WESTPORT, Conn. – The law firm of Berchem, Moses & Devlin, P.C. is relocating its Westport office to 1221 Post Road East, effective July 1, 2013.
The firm, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, will occupy more than 4,700 square feet in its new location. There will be offices for up to 10 lawyers, as well as conference rooms to serve client needs.
Westport Managing Partner Ira Bloom said the new location will give the firm a higher visibility and be more convenient for clients. “The Post Road is a thriving business corridor where we can effectively serve our growing client base in Fairfield County.”

Mr. Bloom, who has been Westport’s Town Attorney since 1998, said the firm’s move will benefit clients in the Westport area and throughout Fairfield County. “The new location will be the firm’s anchor in Fairfield County and will offer a convenient and comfortable location for serving clients.” Mr. Bloom added that the new location has both pleasing aesthetics and client-friendly amenities. “The building features a two-story atrium lobby, and both exterior and underground parking.”
The new location also offers a flexible configuration of offices, allowing for future expansion of the firm, Mr. Bloom said. “As the firm grows, it is important to have the space necessary for the operation of our varied areas of practice.”

The Westport office of the firm represents clients throughout Fairfield County in areas such as municipal affairs, trusts and estates, commercial real estate, land use, labor and employment litigation and education law.
