Prep School: Learn To Braise Sunday, 10/23, 11AM

Winter's coming -- time for comfort food!

Get inspired by Williams-Sonoma’s Sunday morning Technique Classes!

As the weather cools, everyone craves tender braised meats and vegetables with satisfying sauces. Learn how to braise correctly, from which pan to use to how to adjust a recipe if you are making it on the stove, in the oven or in an electric slow cooker. This class will also teach you how to create that slow-cooked, concentrated flavor more quickly and tell you which foods are best for braising. We'll be cooking and tasting Burgundy Braised Chicken and Braised Cabbage with Carrots and Bacon.

Learn fresh menu ideas, healthy recipes for family dinners, and both classic and new cooking techniques. Our complimentary Classes are each dedicated to a specific culinary topic, such as cookware, tools or the best way to work with seasonal produce.

• Hour-long technique classes are free and include tastings of prepared dishes.

• Participants enjoy 10% savings on select same-day store purchases.

• Please call Westport store, 136 Main St., 203-221-8667 to reserve your place.
