We live and work in a wonderful community here in Westport and I am very thankful to be a part of, and a strong supporter of this town. So,  why not join a community garden? A community garden brings all types of people together to participate in a shared interest of gardening. These gardens have become the mainstay in landscapes everywhere. It's a great way for novices to learn from the seasoned gardener and touted as a great social event and meeting place. A few reasons to join:

Community gardens must practice organic methods, which in turn keeps the chemicals off your plate.

Save money and grow your own, or perhaps grow a row for the hungry.
