A Chance to Test New Products and Foods, Take a Free Demo Music Class

Catherine Siroka, owner of the family-focused website Macaroni Kid Westport to Greenwich, is hosting a "Baby Brunch" February 27 that will give local moms a chance to score free products. The event, which will take place from 10:30 to 12 p.m. Feb. 27, will feature products from Dr. Smith's, Happy Family Baby Food, Bebek Bottles & Sippy Cups, ExerSaucer and Kolcraft.

This is not a shopping party,  but a day to come and try out some awesome food and baby gear with the chance to take home some of the products yourself. There will be really amazing swag from local sponsors, goodies from some local businesses as well as a chance to take a free demo music class at Music Together in Westport. Space is limited and is reserved for local mothers will children ages 3 and younger. Babies are encouraged to attend.

In order to participate, you must be a subscriber to the newsletter and fill out a form here. If invited to attend, an emailed invitation will be sent with the address and other details. Those who do not make the original invitation list will be placed on a waiting list.

About Macaroni Kid: Macaroni Kid is a free weekly e-newsletter and website that highlights all of the great things for kids and their families to do in lower Fairfield County, as well as information on health, crafts, recipes, reviews, parenting, charities, giveaways and special deals.

Under the stewardship of Catherine Siroka, Macaroni Kid is poised to quickly become the go to source for all things family.  As a mom, I know how difficult it has been to keep track of the fun and enriching events and activities available for kids as well as find healthy recipes.  I’m extremely excited to share Macaroni Kid with the community and look forward to the opportunity to support the many cultural, not-for-profit, school and just plain fun things there are to do.  Macaroni Kid covers the spectrum of things to do with kids -- classes, shows, events as well as things to do at home, cooking projects, book reviews, arts and crafts and more. It is also a great way for local businesses and charities to highlight their efforts in the community.

Parents in lower Fairfield County can sign up to receive their weekly newsletter by visiting www.westport.macaronikid.com. In addition to events in Westport, I have information on events and activities in Weston and Wilton, New Canaan, Norwalk, Darien, Stamford and Greenwich, as well as featuring exciting ideas for family road trips and travel. Ideas for articles and event listings can be sent to catherines@macaronikid.com.

Why is it the panel for this event does not include a single advocate for gun-owners' rights? WithRead More all due respect to Chief McNamara, why does the panel no include a person who can speak to gun safety from a gun-owning civilian's perspective? ML, you claim that the assembled folks "do not offer judgements about gun ownership" but they are not including a single voice that can offer perspective on gun ownership. I have been to "education" sessions sponsored by Meg's March for Change and they are one-sided indoctrinations into gun control advocacy. >>>> I was in Hartford for the public hearings in January when both Meg and March co-founder Nancy gave their personal testimonies and they all but threatened the legislators on the panel with election day retribution for all those who did not tow the gun-control line of thinking (i.e. March and CAGV). To suggest that Meg "does not offer judgements" is fallacious and disingenuous.
