in various big city daily newspapers on their Editorial Pages.
These are not paper cut outs from newspapers. These are THE ORIGINALS!
Many of the political cartoonists were winners of
Pulitzer Prizes.
Part of my collection is a quantity of originals,
featuring President Nixon. Others feature President Carter.
The larger remaining part of the collection covers
significant people,places and events that have taken place during the past 50 years in the USA and around the world..
Subjects run the gamut of the events that took place in the 20th century; including World War II. Each cartoon is a gem on its own.
Each tells a valuable story of the times in which we
lived as told through the creativity and the drawing pens (or brushes) of these extremely talented professionals. Some are even autographed.
Each is a piece of history that needs to be preserved, saved and savored for today and for the future.
