5 Things All About Westport: Feb. 9

Water Wars, ADHD and the hilarious David Pogue.

  • It’s a Wednesday without snow, ice or anything else particularly nasty. The National Weather Service predicts sunny weather for Westport, with a high near 25. At night, things will chill down to about 18 degrees. A constant 11-15 mph wind is in the forecast.
  • Westport’s own David Pogue continues his NOVA series tonight at 9 p.m. on PBS. The tech expert theme in the third part of the series is “making stuff smarter.” According to the website, this episode, “looks at materials that respond to their environments and even learn, such as an airplane wing that changes shape as it flies.” For those who might might not like NOVA shows after sitting through them in middle school science class, this one is worth your time. Pogue is quite funny and entertaining.
