Blotter: Heroin, Domestic Dispute

Police reports from Feb. 10-13.

The following arrest information was provided by the Westport Police Department. It does not indicate convictions.

A Bridgeport man was pulled over for having a cracked windshield and not displaying a front license plate. He was arrested for possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. According to the police, Harry Berrios, 46, was pulled over on the morning of Feb. 13. Police found used syringes containing heroin residue inside the vehicle. Berrios’ bail was set at $1,000 and he is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on Feb. 23.

Tearsey Moore, 43, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Feb. 10 at 11:46 a.m. on a charge of second-degree failure to appear. Bail was set at $2,500 and she is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on Feb. 24.

Bart Valiante, 53, of Reichert Circle, was arrested on Feb. 11 at 8:35 a.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct. According to the report, Valiante was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife where he threw things around the house. He was released on a promise to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on Feb. 14.

Ladshaya Piedra, 21, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Feb. 11 at 10:23 p.m. on a charge of second-degree failure to appear. Bail was set at $2,500 and she is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on Feb. 22.
