Chance of Frost and Flooding

Westport Weather Wiz Jacob Meisel says there's chance for frost on Monday and Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the Westport area.

The outlook summarizes potential hazardous weather events.

On Wednesday night and Thursday, the weather service reports potential for heavy rain and strong gusty winds. With a new moon in place, the weather service said tides will be exceptionally high on Thursday, which could lead to minor or moderate flooding in coastal areas. The impacts will depend on the track and timing of the potential storm, which remains uncertain at this time, according to the weather service.
