First Night Buttons On Sale

Everyone needs one to attend the annual New Year's Eve bash.

New Year's Eve is just a couple of weeks away, and it is time to buy your First Night Buttons, now $10 (children two and under are free).

If you have never attended a First Night, the button is your admission to all of the performances.

Performances include an exciting lineup.  Kids can enjoy Flash Bam Alakazam, Suzanne Sherman Propp, Hanford and Finlay, the Magic Genie, Dennis the Train Man and try some square dancing.  Families can share the fun of The Magical Mystery Tour who will be performing Beatles music.

For the more sophisticated taste, First Night is hosting the Good News Gospel Choir, Chris Coogan Jazz, the soprano Jodi Keogan, Café Musette and Mark Naftalin.  For laughter, comedian Jonathan Prager will be performing.

The event is from 3 to 9 p.m. ending with a fireworks extravaganza. Toquet Hall will remain open until 11:30 p.m. with a Battle of the Bands. And the Adam Currie Band will be performing at the Library.
