First Snow of Season Accumulates, Westporters Out of Power
Although it is only November 7, Winter Storm Athena is expected to drop about an inch of wet snow in Westport.
While Winslow Park got a fresh coat of snow during the beginning of Winter Storm Athena, Connecticut Light and Power is reporting that 30 customers, including A Child's Place Pre-School, are without power in Westport as of 1:45 p.m.
All after school and evening activities, including continuing education classes, have been cancelled, according to Superintendent of Schools Elliot Landon.
