Get Out: Community Theatre, Mozart, Touch a Shark

2. Mozart and Friends

Where: The Steinway Piano Gallery, 501 Post Rd E., Westport

When: Sunday, 4-5:30 p.m.

Why go: Sponsored by Stamford Symphony, pianists Emily Wong and Jean Schneider perform the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), Robert Schumann (1810-1856) and Astor Piazolla (1921-1992).

3. Touch A Shark – and Much More

Where: The Maritime Aquarium

When: Through Feb. 27

Why go: This special exhibit features live nurse sharks, a relatively docile species that tolerates human touch. The exhibit also features a real shark cage, sponsored by snappacharters.com, for those who care to climb in and stick their head in the “mouth” of a not-real Great White.

Price: Free with general admission - $12.95/adults, $11.95/seniors,  $9.95/children 2-12.

4. Tango Buenos Aires Performance

Where: Fairfield University's Quick Center for the Arts, 1073 North Benson Rd., Fairfield

When: Saturday, 8 p.m.

Why go: The world-renowned Tango Buenos Aires spices up the stage with this dance known for its sizzling sensuality with a "Fire and Passion of Tango" performance accompanied by a live orchestra for this Arts & Minds presentation.

5. Maple Sugaring Adventure

Where: New Pond Farm 101 Marchant Rd., West Redding

When: Saturday, 1-2:30 p.m.

Why go: It’s a New England tradition! Learn how to “sugar off” through this Discovery Center at Ridgefield program. Out in the field you will get an inside look at how maple syrup is produced. Details here.
