This week take the family to learn how maple syrup is made, buy some nutritious homegrown goodies at the Farmer’s Market and sign the kids up to learn fencing or compete in a Wii tournament.
FAMILY BEST BETS OF THE WEEK

Why Go: This is a fun-for-all-ages event that includes a winter campfire with some hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows that will teach how tree sap becomes maple syrup and offers a tasting as well as "how to do this at home" demonstration.
Pricing: $8 per member, $10 per non-member.
Where/When: on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Why Go: This is an introduction course for kids age 11 and up who want to learn Fencing and have one year or less experience in the sport.
Pricing: $150/Members $190/Non-members
Where/When: on Mar. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why Go: Shop at the Winter Farmers' Market and purchase organic vegetables, greenhouse greens, eggs, milk, indoor plants, cheeses, baked goods, and so many more options for healthy eating for the whole family.

Why Go: This performance is a semi-autobiographical comedy by Neil Simon, about the coming-of-age of a Jewish American teenager. Parent Guidance is strongly suggested for this performance. No one under 7 years will be permitted in the Black Box Theatre.

Why Go: Westport Teens in Middle School and in grades above can stop by the Library to play Wii and participate in "Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament" for prizes.
