Westport #1 in 'Rating the Towns' Guide

Connecticut Magazine recently published its "Rating the Towns" guide, which measures the quality of life in towns with populations over 10,000 in five categories: education, economy, cost of living, crime and leisure/culture.

Westport is ranked #1 in Connecticut Magazine’s recently published “Rating the Towns” guide, in the “Population 25K-50K” category.

The annual ranking measures the quality of life in towns with populations over 10,000 in five categories: education, economy, cost of living, crime and leisure/culture. Towns are broken down into size categories for comparison purposes.

Westport ranked #1 in education, economy, and leisure in its size category, however it ranked #26 in cost of living and #5 in crime.
