Hadley Rose has lived in Westport for nearly two decades, but he resigned from his post as Representative Town Meeting moderator Tuesday night as he has future plans to move to Simsbury.
Rose mentioned the Baron’s South project and the Westport Weston Family Y’s planned move to Mahackeno as the biggest issues he faced during his six years as moderator.
Rose, who served on the legislative body for 10 years, said “dealing with the budget over the last few years,” was another major issue he and his colleagues were faced with.
RTM Deputy Moderator Eileen Flug will take Rose’s place until a new moderator is elected.
