Westport's Alison Fischer Makes Connecticut Magazine's '40 Under 40'

resident Alison Fischer has been named to Connecticut Magazine’s annual “40 Under 40” list of inspirational people.

The 37-year-old fashion designer, who got her experience with Nicole Miller and Ralph Lauren, owns the popular Westport bridal shop . The 3,000-square-foot salon carries gowns by Oscar de la Renta, Monique Lhuillier, Anne Barge, Caro­lina Herrera and other upscale names.

In addition to seeking nominations for its “40 Under 40” listing from civic and business leaders, the magazine’s editors also hand-selected some of those honored.
