Westport to Light Town Christmas Tree Thursday

An ice sculpture demonstration, food from Oscar's and Bobby Q's, a special holiday cheer from Purple Feet and Blue Lemon, treats for the kids, a blazing fire pit from Gault Energy and a surprise visit from Santa will all be part of the festivi

 

First Selectman Gordon Joseloff announced today that Westport will light a Christmas tree at Town Hall on Thursday, Nov. 29, at 5 p.m. 

“We invite all residents to join us on the front lawn of Town Hall to help light the tree and start the holiday season,” said Joseloff.

After the tree lighting ceremony, the Westport Historical Society will offer complimentary refreshments on itsr porch overlooking Veterans Green. 

Between 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., the Westport Downtown Merchants Association invite residents to the Christ & Holy Trinity Church’s Great Hall for a celebration with music from Chris Coogan and the Staples High School Orphenians.
